The story of Nalgene started in 1949 in Rochester in the state of New York.

A chemist invents a plastic bottle in polyethylene, which have the particularity that the inside liquid doesn't interact with the outside plastic.

This bottle has been made for the medical analysis laboratory, Nalgene is born. In the 70s', Nalgene launch an outdoor range of products based on his medical experience.
