BLIZZARD Rustler 9 2024
All-mountain Alpine ski for men Blizzard Rustler 9, available with or without binding.
Far be it from us to pretend that one ski can do everything: we design ours with a specific use in mind to offer you stunning experiences. But this latest Rustler is a little different... At its heart, it is a freeride tool equipped with the best technologies in the field. This is what has always characterized him and that is not about to change. But its thin shape (96 mm at the waist) allows it to tame all terrains: packed snow, concrete, trafole... The playful rocker-camber-rocker profile guarantees easy changes of direction on all terrains, as well as smooth flotation on deep powder. This ski particularly stands out with the new Fluxform technology. It provides each side of the ski with two Titanal inserts, ensuring exceptional stability under the skate and just the right amount of cushioning at the tip and tail. This Rustler demonstrates unprecedented fluidity, whether you're racing down a corridor, jumping a cliff or leisurely speeding down a slope to join the après-ski and celebrate another unforgettable day in the mountains.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS :
Construction: Fluxform Duramax Sandwich Full Sidewall
Core + Key Materials: Trueblend Free Woodcore
Rocker: Rocker-Camber-Rocker
PERFECTLY BALANCED FLEX
We have now designed a specific Trueblend wood core for our freeride category skis.
It combines beech and poplar - two types of wood guaranteeing performance - and paulownia to be light, but very efficient.
The result: The right flex to meet all hiking needs in a lighter format.

ACCESSIBLE PERFORMANCE
The Trueblend Free Woodcore specifically positions three different densities of wood to form a wood core that is specifically designed to optimize the flex of the ski and provide a soft, balanced feel.
This mix of different wood densities creates three distinct flex zones: a softer flex zone in the tip and tail areas, which makes it easier to initiate and release turns, a medium flex zone in front and behind the binding, which helps give confidence and control and finally, a stiffer flex zone in the center, under the binding, which guarantees perfect grip and stability.
The Trueblend Woodcore is designed to provide just the right amount of what you need, performance, control and confidence, to do what you want, when you want, anywhere on the mountain.
LASTING PROTECTION
Titanic new construction designed to deliver both maximum durability and increased performance with a unique, high-value look. The top layer of titanal is extended to the edge of the ski and placed directly under the top sheet which is then milled 3mm, exposing it. The titanal directly absorbs any impacts that occur along the top edge, reducing scratches and eliminating chipping.

The team's opinion
With the new Blizzard Rustler 9, the tips of the ski are tapered for perfect flotation and the tail is wider for more support during fast powder turns and cliff landings.
