In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for you to submit your communication concerning your wish to exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
You will be responsible for the direct costs of returning the items. We advise you to return the goods to us by registered mail or post and possibly to take out insurance with the transporter for the market value of the items. This is necessary in the event of damage or loss of the items being returned by the transporter.
In all cases, the return of items is at the consumer's risk.
Consequences of the right of withdrawal: You must return the goods to ValetMont, 184 passage du centre, 74230 Manigod, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. This time limit is deemed to be respected if you return the items before the expiry of the fourteen-day time limit. In the event of your withdrawal from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the refund using the same method of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to a different method; in any event, this refund will not result in any charges for you. We may defer repayment until we have received the goods or until you have provided proof of shipment of the goods, whichever comes first.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Only products in new and complete condition (accessories, notices etc.) will be accepted, returned in their original packaging. Any returns that have been damaged, or returned goods where the original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded. If the item is returned incomplete or damaged to SnowUniverse, a discount of its price will be applied according to the inspection made by the after-sales service team.
Exception to the right of withdrawal: Effecting the right of withdrawal is excluded for the following contracts:
- Contracts for the supply of goods made according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised goods such as skis to be assembled. The bindings are drilled and adjusted to the customer's size.
- Contracts for the supply of goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Contracts for the supply of goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery -and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or protection of health.
- Contracts for the supply of goods which, after they have been delivered and by their nature, are inseparably mixed with other articles.
- Contracts for the supply of goods or services where prices depend on fluctuations in the financial market beyond the control of the trader and which may occur during the withdrawal period.
