The general conditions of sale detailed below (hereinafter referred to as the 'General Conditions') govern the contractual relationship between any ValetMont.com Site User (hereinafter referred to as the 'User' or 'You') and the commercial brand Snowuniverse.com owned by Val Sports SAS 184 passage du centre, col de Merdassier, 74230 Manigod (hereinafter referred to as 'Snowuniverse').
These conditions of sale are the only applicable ones and they replace all other conditions, except with prior express written consent.ValetMont may occasionally be obliged to modify certain provisions of its general conditions, so it is necessary that they be reread before each visit to the ValetMont.com Site (hereinafter referred to as the 'Site'). We consider that by confirming your order, you unreservedly accept our general conditions of sale, having read them.
By accessing the Site, you agree to the Terms and Conditions contained therein.

The sale prices listed on the site are in euros and are inclusive of all taxes, but exclude delivery charges. Any delivery costs are the responsibility of the User and are charged at the end of the order in addition to selected products.
Prices appear in euros on the website. You might notice that they also appear in the currency of the country of dispatch, and this is shown for information only and has no contractual value.
ValetMont accepts no liability for errors or inaccuracies in the conversion system used, nor for any differences that might arise between the estimated total amount of your order and the billing amount.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but we are committed to applying the current rates that were displayed on the site at the time of your order.
5. Product availability
We will honor your order while stock is available. In the event that one of the products ordered is not in stock, we promise to contact you by email within 7 days from the date of your order to inform you, indicating how soon this could, if appropriate, be delivered to you.
If, among the ordered products, some are temporarily unavailable, we promise to send you the products available and to offer you the 'postage' for the rest of the order.
Availability shown on the Site is given for information only and does not in any way represent a contractual commitment.
6. Delivery mode
The products available on the Site ValetMont.com are delivered to all countries listed on the Site. In case you want your purchases delivered to other countries, please contact customer service via email at serviceclients@ValetMont.com.
Your order will be delivered to the address you provide when ordering. Shipping costs are calculated according to the destination country. If the delivery address is different to the billing address, the postage will be recalculated based on the delivery address.
Delivery in France is made within 3 to 4 days with La Poste and their Colissimo monitoring service, or Exapaq for oversized parcels.
Orders placed before 2pm will be processed the same day if the ordered products were marked as available on the Site.
The cost of this option depends on the selected item. The Colissimo or Exapaq tracking number can be passed to the purchaser upon request.
The delivery times mentioned on the Site are only indicative and may be changed. ValetMont are not be held responsible for consequences due to late delivery or loss of packages from the carrier.
In case of non-receipt of a package by the deadline, an investigation will conducted with the carrier and may take several days, 21 days at the Post Office. During this period, no refund or return can be made. Shipping costs include insurance. In case of loss,ValetMont will replace the product or compensate you in full in the case of the item being out of stock
Upon receipt of your order, you must check that the products delivered conform with your order and if applicable, indicate any anomaly regarding the order in the area reserved for writing on the delivery along with your signature.
You must return the form by mail the same day, or at the latest, one working day after receipt of your order, to Val Sports, ValetMont, 184 passage du centre, col de Merdassier, 74230 Manigod, Haute savoie, or by fax +33 (0)4 50 32 64 51, or by email. Any claim made after this deadline will not be accepted and will release ValetMont from any accountability to the User.
To avoid delays in delivery, please include in your order:
- personal or business email address; and,
- a landline telephone number (workplace or home) that can be called any time during the day.
7. Tax refund
A tax refund is made to control all orders delivered outside the countries of the European community. For these countries, prices are shown excluding tax. Customs documents will be attached to the package during shipping. Additional customs fees may be applied to the customer upon delivery.
French tax (TVA) is 20%.
8. Secure payment
ValetMont offers several modes of payment: credit card (debit, Visa or MasterCard ...), French euro cheque (with a photocopy of your identity document), and PayPal.
For payment by credit card, the transaction is performed 4 days after your order, only with authorisation from your financial institution.
Online payment by credit card is done via the Banque Populaire's secure online system, 'Cyber plus paiement', which provides encryption of your banking information when transmitted.
For payment by cheque, simply send it payable to Val Sports at the address below, along with your order summary:

Upon receipt of your cheque, we will ship your order. For orders exceeding 2,000€, only bank cheques will be accepted.
For payment by PayPal, whether you have a PayPal account or not, the transaction is done directly on the PayPal website; ValetMont can not be held responsible for any malfunction of their payment Site.
9. Right of withdrawal. Satisfied or reimbursed
Pursuant to Article L 121-20 of the Code de la Consommation (French Consumer Code), you have 15 working days (instead of seven days under the Act), to return an unsatisfactory product. Within that time, you can return the product at your expense, along with your invoice and return form, completed and signed.
The right of withdrawal may be exercised for contracts of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised such as skis with bindings. The bindings are drilled and adjusted according to the customer's size.
We advise you to return the goods by registered post or by tracking, as well as to purchase insurance with the carrier to the market value of the products. This is necessary in case of theft or loss of these goods by their services.
In any case, the return is at risk of the consumer.
Returned products will only be accepted in new condition and complete (accessories, manuals etc.), returned in their original packaging and addressed to:

Any product that has been damaged or whose original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded. If the item is returned incomplete or damaged to ValetMont, a discount of its price will be applied according to the assessment made by the after-sales service team.
The periods mentioned above run from the date of delivery of the order.
This right of withdrawal is without penalty, except for shipping costs.
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, ValetMont will do its best to reimburse the User as quickly as possible; this period will depend on the technical tests on your hardware, of a maximum duration of 10 days.
In the case of a refund, the User is reimbursed by bank transfer for payments by credit card, by cheque or by PayPall.

11. Guarantees and after-sales service (SAV)
All our products are under manufacturer warranty; the duration of the warranty varies, depending on the brand and products, between 1 and 5 years.
The shipping costs of your item(s) are paid by the client.
For any parcel returns, you must send them back by La Poste (or other transporter) to:

ValetMont then agrees to take over the repairs with suppliers.
Whatever the problem with your product, it is imperative to include with the defective product a copy of the invoice, the guarantee (included in the box) and the return form, filled in.
Beware! The guarantee does not apply to compensation for damage resulting from a cause separate from the item (for example, accident, shock, fire), a job or off-specification usage, usage that prevents the proper conservation of the product, commercial usage or collective usage.
In case of no support for the repair, the manufacturer will provide a quote.
An administrative fee will be requested by the manufacturer in the event of non-payment of this estimate. If the estimate is agreed, you must send us a cheque, payable to Val Sports and corresponding to the amount of the estimate.
12. Litigation and responsibility
This contract is subject to French law. Any dispute, whatever the place of delivery, which could arise from the interpretation or execution of these General Conditions will be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Annecy.
ValetMont will not be held liable for breach of contract in case of force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, including postal services and means of transport or communications, flood, fire, or war.ValetMont not be liable for any indirect, operating loss, loss of profit, loss of luck, damage or expense that might arise from the purchase of any product displayed on the Site.
ValetMont can not be held responsible for any consequences resulting from the misuse of products sold on the Site.
