The brand

The sun cream has been invented by the founder of the PIZ BUIN brand, Franz GREITER in 1946.

After he was sun burnt during the hike of an Alps mountain, the Piz Buin, he decided to create the first sun cream with a protection against the ultra-violet rays. The goal of the brand since 1946 is to find the perfect balance between sun protection and tanning.

The range of products has been completed with products specifics to different kind of sports or activities : mountains, sailing or others.

The range of products Piz Buin for mountains has been created to protect against the sun, the cold, and the wind, very common in high altitude.
