- Important: the cuckoo clock sings automatically for 16 hours and remains silent for 8 hours. If you want your clock to be silent at night, you need to insert the batteries for the first time, bearing in mind that at 4 p.m. it will be silent and 8 hours later it will sing again. For example, if you dial 7:45 when inserting the batteries, the device will ring for the next 16 hours: 8:00, 9:00, etc. Ring for the last time at 11:00 p.m. and be muted again until 8:00 a.m.
