L’histoire des chaussures Merrell commence en 1981 quand deux personnes de la société de ski Rossignol décident de s'associer avec Randal Ivan Merrell, fabricant de chaussures sur mesure. De leur association nait une gamme complète de chaussures de randonnée haute performance, dont la fameuse Moab. Best-seller de l'entreprise Merrell, cette dernière a évolué, mais existe toujours plus de 20 ans après.
