The Mantra M7 from Volkl is the replacement of the famous mantra M6 with even more technicality! 

These new generation Mantra M7 skis stand out for their increased stability, agility and handling, offering even more versatility for an exhilarating experience on and off the slopes. Their improved performance is the result of Völkl’s innovations: a custom-made titanium frame ensures optimum stability, while specific carbon tips guarantee maximum reactivity. Unlike its predecessor, the M6 Mantra, the M7 Mantra features the 4 Radius Drive design – an advanced development of the proven 3D side-cut X-ray, a Völkl exclusive innovation. This technology sets a new standard in the ability to adjust the turning radius, combining easy handling with robust stability. Offering maximum versatility for different snow conditions, whether on or off-piste, it ensures enhanced stability on hard surfaces and optimized performance on soft snow.

The adaptation of the Titanal components to ski lengths and proportions not only lightens the tip and tail, but also influences torsional stiffness, thus improving handling. This maintains the stability of a typical Titanal ski while making the Mantra M7 much lighter and more manageable. The handling characteristics of the Mantra M7 also benefit from the custom-made carbon tip. The specific placement of carbon fibres provides a precise response to the tip and significantly strengthens the torsional rigidity of the ski.
